My first Mother's Day!

I have the sweetest two boys in the whole world!  For starters, Andy got up with Owen on Saturday morning so that I could sleep in and be lazy ALL day!  It was magical!  Then, late on Saturday night, Owen and Andy walk into the room like this...

They walked in to surprise me while I was on the computer. They walked in to surprise me while I was on the computer.

It was the lens I have been wanting for my camera since February!  They are on back-order everywhere, and I have been saving up to buy it once I can find one that is available.  My boys found me one, and I LOVE IT.  Here are some pictures taken with it on actual Mother's Day.DSC_0254

I would like to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there...especially GiGi, Nana, Annie, and MacMommy!

Owen's First Trip to Chuck E. Cheese!

Last Friday, Taylor and Terra decided to surprise Grey with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese.  Emma was spending the night with a friend, so they decided to do something special just for Grey.  They invited Cody, Kristy, Ryder, Owen, Andy, and I to join them.  At first we were a little hesitant that Owen would like it, but we decided to tag along.  Owen LOVED it.  His eyes were as big as saucers as soon as we walked in.  Here are a few highlights of Owen's nights.  All of the pictures from the night are posted on Facebook.

One little side-note: I have to hand it to Chuck E. Cheese.  They stamp your arm with a glow in the dark number as you walk in.  Your entire family has the same number.  Before you leave, they check your number, and only children that have the same number as you are able to leave with you.  And, they had a really good salad bar!

Dinner with the Carroll Fam

John, Ashleigh, JAC, Charis, and Jones came in from Memphis the same weekend Owen and I were in Murfreesboro.  Ashleigh was going to run in the Nashville Marathon, but she got a viral infection, and she couldn't participate.  So, we went to MacMommy and Granddaddy's for dinner instead.  It was a good partial family reunion, and a great time to celebrate Uncle Alan's birthday.  Here are some pictures...

Owen at School...sort of...

While we were in Murfreesboro, Owen and I went to visit Brittney at school.  Her kindergartners LOVE Owen!  Luckily, when we got there, the kids were playing on the playground.  Owen got to hang out with Aunt B while they played.  DSC_0079

Happy Belated Birthday, Annie!

April 19th was Annie's 84th Birthday.  Owen and I went to Murfreesboro to help her celebrate.  We love Annie so much, and we wish her many, many more happy years!

Long time, no blog...

Well, it has been a busy time in the Sneed household.  Andy has started playing softball, Owen now has 2 teeth, and Emily is struggling to maintain her sanity!  While such a chaotic lifestyle can be very fun, it definitely puts a damper on blogging.  So, I will try to catch you all up!

My quilt is coming along very nicely.  I have a LONG way to go, but I am really proud of what I have done so far.  If I get a chance, I will post some pictures of the blocks I have finished later.

Couponing is going really well.  It is definitely time consuming, but it is really paying off.  In April, I saved 43% off my total purchases.  So far for May, I have saved 46%!  If anyone in the Chattanooga area is interested, there is going to be another Intro to Couponing class next week.  Let me know if you are interested and I will get you the details.

Andy is enjoying playing softball this year; at least when the games aren't rained out.  This rain is really something.  It seems like there is a chance of rain everyday this Spring!  It is doing wonders for the yard, but we can't enjoy it because we can't keep it mowed!

Andy also got a new Truck a couple of weeks ago.  Well, I say new in the since that it is new to us.  GiGi is now driving our black Altima, and Andy was able to get a Crew Cab Frontier for the price that we sold the Altima for.  Andy really loves his truck, and I am so happy he has it.  He is downright giddy when he drives it.

That brings me to Owen.  My baby is growing up so fast.  On the 18th, he will be 8 months old.  It is crazy to think that it is already time to start thinking about first birthdays!  Here is one of my favorite pictures of him taken recently.  We were at the ballpark watching Daddy play softball.  DSC_0138
